Spent the day cleaning the House of the Dead cab inside in out. How the hell does a game get this dirty inside? Took me hours to disassemble every thing and clean it.

Seriously how does it get that crazy around the exhaust fan? There was another fan not pictured attached to the pcb cage that was just as dirty too.

No wonder the fuse blew, and melted the holder.

At least with that cleaning, you shouldn't have to worry about too much heat build up from those fans being clogged.

That is pretty nasty, but I must say I have seen worse. Don't even get me talking about the monitor chassis on my Time Soldiers game. Yikes. It's a wonder that thing still works.

Great job cleaning it up, though!

I got that beat, but there are worse in here somewhere

No surprise when games run 16 hours a day or more. CRTs attract dust like a magnet, cabinet acts like a settling pool once air enters, many locations have doors and windows open on nice days. In dusty locations, a power supply with its own fan will be totally clogged up in a year.

i had to use a wire brush on the bottom of my paperboy.. it was pure black, no woodgrain even visible!

I would feed my kids off of that sparkling clean exhibit vs. the last piece of shit multicade project I bought.

Yours doesn't seem to even have mouse shit, which is par for the course.

I just got around to opening a Pole Position I picked up in September...thing was definitely a rodent's outhouse with a lot of nice little pee stains soaking into the wood. At least an inch of dirt on the portions that didn't have little crap sprinkles.

I got a Ms Pac from a laundromat once that had at least 6" of lint in the bottom of the cab. You couldn't even see the transformer in there!

I'll take a layer of dust any day over dead mice or armies of spiders.

Yea i had that beat to. I had an original G07 in my Targ machine that literally had dried up exploding caps and dirt, mouse turds, chewed up wires from mice, urine, and everything else in it. the pics dont do the dirtiness justice.

It is 100% now tho lol.
