Let's face it, stencils and artwork can be pretty expensive. Did you ever attempt a custom paint job on a machine because the artwork underneath was completely destroyed and the inside of the machine was so completely hacked that nothing was salvagable? Were you happy with the way it turned out? Do you have pictures? Here's one I did.

This is how it came. Completely dead with no original parts.

After stripping it down here is what it looked like.

Here is the final product.

Here's 181 photos that showed all the work I did to get it to it's finished state.

I always say keep it dedicated. But damn that looks sweet. Nice job
It's a hell of a lot better than destroying the cab like I see so many people do

I think it looks fabulous. I've only done it once, to my Lost Tomb conversion. It started as aa Time Pilot conversion in an Amidar cab:

I bought a Lost Tomb kit, picked custom colors to match the CP, added color coded joysticks and made a custom kickplate stencil for the front. Otherwise Lost Tomb was just a kit game that got thrown into generic Stern cabs. Here's how it turned out:

That looks really nice. Is that Pac-Man yellow you used? The color scheme really works well, and I think the added lines make it look better than the original art. The paint from this project came from my prior Super Pac, and some cans of spray paint on the shelf. The guy I sold it to loved it, and I'm glad I did it rather than painting it a solid color. It's really cheap, but it takes a lot of time.

Nope, it's a quart of oil-based 'John Deere Yellow' for repainting tractors and other classic John Deere Equipment. I love stenciling cabs. I reeeeeally reeeeeally do. I am doing a Joust next, I can't wait.

Wow that looks fantastic! I know most would prefer the original side art, but IMO I would rather have one like yours over the original. You're quite talented mhanlen1 :).

Is the ghost going to eat that doughnut? I'm hungry. :) That is a seriously great paint job.

He's contemplating it, but Super Pac-Man loves his DO-NUTS!

I wanted to keep a Super Pac theme, but since I had no usable guide the lettering was out of the question. I was going to add a few more food items from Super Pac, but was unhappy with the way they looked in some sketches I drew.

I actually figured I'd get reamed for it here, but I'm quite proud of the way it turned out, so I figured what the hell.
