I just capped a Nanao MS9-29A that really had no issues, but another one out of the same head to head cabinet did need a couple caps changed, so to avoid near future issues with this one I did it anyway.

I double and triple checked while doing it, and went back over it after hooking it back up and NONE of the caps are installed incorrectly or the incorrect value.

But now I have partial vertical collapse, and I have no idea why, nor do I have the time to figure it out right now. I've capped several other monitors and never had a single issue.

This monitor was to be delivered to a buyer this weekend too. Not anymore!

Use an ESR meter on your caps it will give you the capatiance of the cap and tell you if it is bad. I've bought new caps and have had a few leaking caps that were sold brand new. Now I check all my old caps I pull from the chassis and compare them with my ESR meter against the new caps before install.

Reinstall old caps and test again, this is assuming you don't have another cap kit on hand for it. PITA, but it will verify that it is in fact a cap issue or if something else happened during the install.
