i picked up a nice Euro Dig Dug the other day for free!

as you can see, the Euro version doesn't have the sideart the US version uses, however, the following flyer shows that there IS sideart available for the Euro cab (check it out at the bottom of the flyer)

i was told that very rarely this sideart pops up on ebay and sells for some serious money! it shouldn't be too much of a problem to have the art vectored and reproduced if we had a nice photo / scan of the Euro artwork, but so far we have come up empty-handed.

therefore my question if there is anyone here on this forum who either has pictures OR the original Euro sideart which would allow us to continue with this repro project? unfortunately, it's impossible to make out from the small picture on the flyer what the artwork looks like, so any input regarding this would be a huge step forward!

thx guys, let's see if we can make this happen ...

I wonder if the Euro sideart is the same as the optional sideart for the cabaret?

I would assume it'd be an option. I personally think the wood grain looks nice of course even better with the side art to go with. Great pick up and of course outstanding that it was FREE....

don't know, do you have any pics?

I don't, unfortunately. All I have is the little card which came with my Dig Dug cabaret that would allow you to mail in for side-art. The card is just blue ink on paper.

The shape of it looks the same as the sideart in the flyer you posted. I'd have to examine it again to see if the graphics are similar (of course, what's printed on the card might not be the same as what they ended up shipping). And I don't think there's an easy way to tell what size it was...

agreed, that's why we need to have pics. would be interesting if we could reproduce these not only for the Euro Digs, but also for the US Dugs ;)
