estate sale with a few games in portland oregon

I was thinking about heading down tomorrow... I just sent them an email to see if I can get an idea if anything is left, and what kind of prices they want.

generally on sales like this, they don't respond... last one I saw said they had a bunch of free stuff and a cabal... so I emailed about the cabal... sadly, it wasn't included in the free stuff, and they said they didn't know what it was worth, so they were going to have to research. Then I saw it posted by itself at $400.

I just got a reply to my email.

The response:

"I listed this for my friend, so I have no idea the asking price, but I know it's a bargain"

I've got a possible $100 coming my way, so maybe I'll head down and see if I can't pick one up for that price. (maybe I'll get lucky and get two or three! yeah, right)

Just stopped by and all the games are still there. No prices posted. The owner was quoting all these crazy prices he has seen on EBay 1700 for Crossbow and 3200 for the Great Guns. He said he wouldn't be too greedy. I didn't even make any offers. I bet the prices will be different for everyone that goes in there. I wish the best for other buyers.

I didn't make it down there today, and I was afraid of the "oh, this sells for $$$$$ on ebay" so I'm kind of glad I didn't

This is correct. He has tried to sell all the same games before. I have talked to him a couple of times. He is an interesting guy, an ex-operator, but he is always all over the board on prices. I get the feeling that the broken Q*berts and the Pengo could be had for a couple hundred each.
