re: cool game thank you
Looks like good luck with the SOLD.
For me, the arcade at Georgia Tech's student union and CNN Center next to the Omni is where I fed the daylights out of one of these
Those were the days, crush a 12 pak at taco bell for lunch, 720, EFTPORM, Stun Runner, should I buy that Elevator Action for $150?, Gold Mine shuffle alley (in the Gold Mine arcade), Champion Wrestler Taito until my fingers bled AND THEN go to the Omni for wrestling?
CRUSHING dudes at Cyberball, KLAX! Fire pinball, Mousin Around Pinball, The Main Event until we smashed the buttons...Cyclone Pinball, that Taito GP motorcycle game that you could shift on hiding in the one dorm rec room, cabaret Tetris in the Waffle House on Piedmont Drive near Lindbergh Station, playing High Speed at the Wreck Room and hitting on that flaming hot redhead barmaid that was dating a GT football prick, .10 wings by the hundred, and fried peach pie at the Varsity. Being the only dude playing High Speed at the Wreck Room.
I miss that Atlanta and I miss those days.
I can still remember the day they wheeled in a SF2 into the Time Out in Lennox mall. Perimeter Mall had an original SF with the rubber pads for the longest time. Feeding .75 a crack and getting really good at sit down Super Monaco GP with the paddle shifters. Hard Drivin' with a TV set on top! Super Buster Bros! Waiting in line to play Michael Jackson's Moonwalker!
Makes the 20 years I held on to these sticks and boardset (pulled from a Professor Pac Man cabinet I might add ouch) seem like 20 minutes.
Thanks
