I am looking at CENTIPEDE SIDE ART DECAL SET - FULL WRAP and based on what I see in this image, I question whether or not this will fully cover the side of my cabinet. the antennae look really close to the left edge, and the pink outline around the claw on the right looks clipped.

Has anyone here bought this product? What was your experience with it?

EP is hit or miss, Ive seen some art not color matched properly, blurry, scaled improperly. Maybe someone who has used and seen the Centi art in person can chime in, but the art they received might differ from the print run you're buying from.

No way that will fit full side per your notes. Looks like a sticker not full sideart to me.

Get EP when you've exhausted all other options, including making the art yourself. I only have a few examples, but colors aren't accurate, gradients don't exist, and in some cases art isn't even sized properly. Not for the serious collector IMHO.

Other thing to think about is that this art is incorrect due to a poor trace. Probably not an EP problem per say, but a problem of artwork printers using artwork found online.
I picked up a Galaga CPO from EP and it was incorrect compared to my original CPO. I let them know and even made the correction to their file for them but never heard anything after that.

The Centipede CPO I got from them at the same time had incorrect line widths on the artwork when compared to my original but probably not noticeable unless you have them side by side.

On the left is the photo of the EP artwork you posted, on the right is a photo of my Centipede cabinet side art.

All of the dark green circle fills on the bug in the original art are filled black on the repro art.
Also look at the mushroom color next to the diagonal stripes. The repro art it's filled pink where the original side art uses the orange color on the mushroom cap.

Maybe it's how the original pink outline version of the artwork is, I don't know. But looking at my cabinet, the repro art isn't entirely accurate.

I'm in the process of accurately recreating the artwork per my original side art to include the screen overprinting colors (look at lower right corner of my photo where the blue and yellow overlap to create a dark green color).

Going to have a friend of mine print it when I'm done tracing and PMS color matching.

@kcorcoran thanks much for the side by side images. Very helpful.

On my OG pink centipede, the dark green dots were actually blue! Certainly not black.

Blue? That's interesting. Would like to see a pic of that.
Looking close at the Phoenix side art images they look much more accurate than the existing artwork files that are out there.

I don't know if I'll end up keeping my machine so I've held off on getting it.

Also worth checking out is Joe Szabo's Arcades. He die cuts his to the shape of the cabinet, so there is no "guessing" of where it goes. You simply line it up evenly from all sides, then after putting it on you trim off the excess. A buddy of mine did his and it came out great! He said the fact that it was die cut made it way easier.

Using EP though, YMMV.
