Equivalent 74 series IC for a 9310 BCD Decade Counter IC used in SI boards ?

The Question:
Does anyone know what the equivalent pin for pin replacement 74 series IC is for a 9310 BCD Decade Counter IC used in SI boards

Anyone else out there have an Artic PCB that is setup for space invaders ?

Why ?
I am researching replacement or equivalent parts used in Space Invaders boards to help document parts used in a Galaxy Wars PCB (made by Artic)

I am currently documenting the PCB layout for an Artic Galaxy Wars PCB, which uses pretty much the same (if not closely matching) architecture of the Space Invaders games (apparently no accident there!), so the info is needed to work out what chips they might have used as alternatives. i am also hunting thru databooks to try and pick it too.

EDIT: Just for interest: Baz found a Cosmic Critters PCB by Artic with another AA member - exact same base board as the Galaxy Wars (no add on hack)

The PCB i am looking at has is a long thin single PCB for the CPU/eproms (although there is a small add-on hack Eprom PCB for the Galaxy Wars game) with a seperate sound board for the sounds. (not sure how closely the sep sound board mirrors the midway L shaped pcb set extra snd pcb (cocktails ?) - i'll work that out later.

Hoping one of you SI repair gurus has the answer on the tip of the tongue!

and on a similar subject, are there any other equivalent pin for pin replacements for the intel 3216/8216 quad bi-directional data bus driver ?

8216 = 8T26 (not exactly easy to find, either).
9310 = 74160

There's also, sometimes...
9316 = 74161
9322 = 74157

Man I have tons of stuff like this but its all randomly stuffed together in tubes in a big box labeled "MISC"! One of these days I might get around to going through it and getting it organized.
If you only need one or two ebay might be your best choice. Searh part number and the word "IC" and you should come up with something.

Yeah, I bought a bunch of 8T28's.
It was a package deal and it included a bunch of 8T23's, 8T24's, 8T26's and others.
Had them all listed on my website for a nickel each for about two years.

I had no idea as to where they were used. Didn't sell a single one of them in two years ... so I wrote them off and pitched them a couple weeks ago.

After hanging onto them for about two years - it figures that I don't find a use for them until -after- I get rid of them.

8T28's are used in Apple II and II+ computers, and are somewhat hard to get when you need one. I've never had a use for the 26's though.
