Eprom programmer question

If unsure, the safest way to do it is to start with the lowest and go up until the chip programs successfully.

If you program at too high of voltage then the chip could easily fry.
 
After doing some more reading I have found some info on the 2532a chips and how to program them.

Don't waste your time with that Willem crap. Just buy a real programmer. You should be able to find a decent used rig for under $150.
 
Any suggestions...Any. I am new to this and need to test and program rom chips for my Galaga boards.

If you do a search here you'll find lots of suggestions (including some in this thread). Go with Needhams, Transtronics, Batronix, Xeltek, etc. Avoid Willem and all the Chinese Willem-clones in fancy packaging. They may be fine for most modern parts, but they're just going to be a headache when working with vintage stuff.
