I guess it's time to invest in a ROM burner. What is the best bang for the buck unit out there? I wanna test my Paperboy ROMS... and tend to work with 1979-1990 year machines mostly...

+1 for the GQ-4X. It has served me well. I know some complain because there are some things it can't do. I've been able to revive my dead Punisher board and Blasteroids board plus clean up a small problem with my MK board. I had planned to burn some VS roms but haven't done that yet.http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_dynamicIndex.asp
The PRO GQ-4X is a nice little unit. Good bang for the buck!
I didn't get the full kit and have done fine so far. The only thing I wish I had was the external power supply since some chips need a little extra power not provided by the usb interface. I've never had a need for any adapters though. Just my 2 cents, but maybe someone thinks the extra stuff would be worth having. Is the full kit worth the extra dough?
Can a normal black light work as an eraser?
Any other information that a "never touched or thought about using a chip burner" person might need to know.
