This is exhibit A on how to fail miserably at selling your items on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Arcade-Marquee-...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c130352c2

Four things that scream out "stupid lazy bastard" in this listing are:

1) The title!
"Arcade Marquee Hearder # 1" Marquee hearder?! Is that like a nerf hearder? Proof reading never occured to this person?! After all,you do get to preview your title before listing.

2)The picture!
Oh yeah, nothing says buy me like a stupid picture of a dragon appearing to enjoy getting a BJ with your ebay ID in it.And not only that, but the dragon pictured is SKINNY!

3)The (lack of) description!
This is probably the most undescript description I have ever seen! Other than the wonderfully spelled title,I have no earthly idea what in the hell they are selling!

4)The price!
$25 for.......what exactly?

On top of that, the seller has listed 39 of these "arcade hearders" and simply put the title arcade marquee hearder #1-#39.
And the kicker...."serious bidders only please!"

How about serious sellers only please!!! Dumbass!!!

He seems to have edited the one in your link....now it is a RARE Street Fighter II marquee.

Yes, those ARE rare. I've only a faint recollection of that title....they only made a couple of prototypes from what I understand.

That's like calling a Nintendo Wii RARE....

Did you ever think he listed them like that for a reason?

Like this:

"Seller Special
1 week only: May 26-June 1
Get free Insertion Fees for all Auction-style listings--regardless
of start price*
List even big ticket items--start the bidding where you want
Pay only if your item sells "

Looks like he found out about the sale at the last minute and put up some placeholder auctions to go back and update later.

Do some research before You call someone a "stupid lazy bastard" and "Dumbass".
Here are his completed auctions. I would say they are very detailed with pictures.

I did do some research...and it's still a fail! I looked at his auctions just recently and out of those 39 listings, only a small handful have details now.And the details he did provide on the updated ones are very minimal.

Ebay gives members advanced notifications on when they are having these kinds of promotions.So...he had advance notice.
If the seller is going to mass list like that because they got the memo late.....fine.No problem with that.

But...why couldn't the seller have gone back after the initial 11th hour mass listing and revise the listings with details and photos? If he had time to list them initially, then you could argue that he had time to revise them as well. And the ones he did revise, why couldn't he have revised them all? It's not like he wrote whole pages worth of information and uploaded 35 pictures for each listing.

The one thing that certainly incriminates him as lazy is the fact that a big majority of his listings (as I am typing this) are still unchanged (just checked) from the time he first listed them.Come on man,get with the program!

I'm not saying this person is a terrible seller or awful human being(might sound like it though:p),just a lazy one.At least in this particular instance. It just looks bad.Like you're not really trying.

If someone wants to sell their items on ebay,I kindly ask to please put in the effort or just post it on Craigslist...where effort, courtesy, grammar, and common sense....are optional.:D

End rant. And I'm glad a few people got a kick out of this!
