EOI: Amplifone Deflection Heatsink

(EDIT: 15 Jan 2013, Parts kits canceled, sorry)

Please express your interest here, if you are buying an Amplifone Deflection PCB from me and would also like a heatsink
(Troy will be involved after they are shipped from Australia)

The Fan is an optional extra, none of the components will be in the kit (Fan Header 0.1" 2Pin, Fan 12V 80mm, 7812 Regulator, tiny heatsink, capacitors x C30 and C31)

Heatsink (Unpainted Proto)

I am interested in 3 parts kits, but I will get the large deflection transistors myself.

Heat sinks - I need to see how many I already have. I MAY be interested in one or two new ones.

Guys
It makes no sense for me to import the 4 x large deflection transistors, then send them back to you (The price here in AU is ridiculous)

So perhaps one of you guys in the US can sort out a bulk order.

Or maybe everyone can just get their own deflection transistors

Suitable alternatives are
2N5886G, NPN, Mouser
2N5884G, PNP, Mouser

These are higher spec than the originals and tested for months perfectly

Can you use 4 of either kind?

Any guesstimate (NOT holding you to it) on the price for the heat sink and/or components?

I need to get the drawing to the shop and also check out the heat sink.... I dont think it will be anything crazy as its just flat stock of Aluminum. It all depends how fancy it gets too. I can have it anodized black and welded together, just depends on cost & qty.

Cool, what about the parts package.

Love the fan mod idea.

just curious, will those beef up a 6100 also?

What's the chance os someone in US calling this phone number and asking if they have US stock?
http://www.jaycar.us/productView.asp?ID=HH8532&keywords=HH-8532&form=KEYWORD (The number is on the left of the site)

If they do, the price will SIGNIFICANTLY drop for heatsinks

Example: Here is the cost in AU $20.35 ea for 10, in US $12.75 ea for 10

Can someone give them a call please and let us all know :)

I can that for you on Monday.
