Entering the corner penthouse of "Spook Central"

I picked this up recently and am finally getting close to finishing it up. I've taken things apart, cleaned them up, done ground mods, waxed the playfields up, etc. It's still missing a couple of things like the lpf rubber rings (and thanks playpin35 for digging up a few small parts and getting them to me in the mail!)

This is a game I'm very excited about, and have always wanted even though this is the first one I've seen in person. It's pretty to look at :), and maybe the best backglass ever IMO. I have some other pictures, but I'll post these two for now.

nice. looks to be in great shape. i've never played it...no idea if it's a fun pin or not...the layout looks cool though.

and you're right..........that back glass is freakin' sweet.

i've never played it...

Neither have I, lol. Except for Microsoft Pinball arcade. That's what happens when you buy something without playing it, then when it shows up you barely turn it on before you're tearing it down and cleaning/replacing parts. The lower playfield isn't hooked up yet.

Just a couple of weeks ago I had all the boards out being modified and the upper/lower playfields removed getting cleaned. I'm still waiting on a few things before it's ready to go 100%.

I've always wanted one of these. Can I ask how much it set you back?

I don't usually like to divulge too much of that, but I'll say I paid around $1000. Actually ended up getting it for less than I paid for the Black Hole I had.

per the boston ebay pinball guide thingy, it averages around $1500....i'd say you got a good deal, especially with how good it looks.
