Enter to win officially licensed Pac-Man merchandise!

If you own a Pac-Man arcade game and feel one of these items would be a sweet addition to your game room, arcade, garcade, etc., submit only ONE post explaining why Pac-Man is a part of your collection. Extra brownie points for pictures of your game/collection and nostalgia factor (Why is the game special to you?).

I'll close off submissions next Saturday 11:59PM PDT. I'll review and pick the top three. Winners will get to choose one prize (belt buckles come as a pair) in the order that he's placed. My only request is that each winner pays shipping cost for his prize.

Sound good? WOKKA WOKKA! :clyde: :pinky: :blinky: :inky: :pacman:

PRIZES!!!

Pac-Man Board Game by Milton Bradley: Missing 1 ghost, 15 white marbles and 1 yellow marble. Box is in rough shape, but the art on the front still looks good.

Honestly, Pac-Man isn't a part of my collection yet, but it is major component of my grail collection. Pac-man has always been the quintessential keystone to a simpler, happier time...when a pocket full of quarters would keep you out of Mom's hair for at least a few hours while she did laundry or her weekly shopping. I still remember walking to the local mom-and-pop gas station a half mile down the road during the mid-80s and sinking all of my grass mowing money into a few hours of fun. You dreaded hearing the Pac death sound, and knew it meant you were about to be one quarter poorer. Pac-man was my introduction to video games, and as such, I made sure, that in this day of ultra-realistic graphical games like Heavy Rain and COD: Modern Warfare, that it was my 7 year old daughter's first game as well. I just hope that I can instill in her the importance of games like Pac-man, and the legacy they carry with them. Without them, there would be no Playstation 3 or Wii.

I do, however, have a Ms. Pacman that we restored from the ground up. Pics are in my Gallery here

I want the pinky belt buckle!

Mrs Pac is in my collection because it's just a great title to have in my garcade. I'm not very good at it but it is a great all around title for people coming over.

1) it goes with my default halloween costume.

2) goes with my Ms Pac-man

3) I painstakenly put together a Ms Pac multi for your work (even though they've burned out the monitor now...)

I had to add a Pac-Man to my collection, why because it's one of the most iconic recognizable game characters even after 30 years. No arcade collection is complete without it. The game play is addictive, simple and fun.

Nice! It looks like you're the front runner so far. Love the SMB wall art.

Pac-man is arguably the most recognizable arcade game character ever. All the non-collectors I've had over always say, "Hey, Pac-Man! I know that one!" Of course my CT is a Mrs. Pac, but maybe it's the floor they're talking about :)

The CT version always attracts the chicks and is a great place to set your drink while you socialize. My CT is a full restore and then some.

Dude, this a plus for setting up a lame contest. I get to see cool setups like yours. That custom floor is amazing. Did you do a thread about it? Is that decals or finished? Either way, it's awesome!

Pacman was actually my very first game that I purchased and pretty much started my crazy arcade collecting obsession I dumped a ton of quarters playing it when I was a kid and today remains one of my pieces that will stay always in my collection. This is a picture of my very first Game room and of course my first game.

Very nice, Steve! I know your game room looks much different now, but I still love that ICEE light up fixture. So sweet. We may have a winner here folks. :D
