I just picked up a English Mark darts Super 6 today.
Only a few of the numbers would count when hit. So ive been looking it over tonight and the sensor that scores the game has a plastic ribbon cable that feeds all the signals. The Ribbon cable has breaks in almost every trace. This is clearly preventing the scoring.

Can this be fixed? There is no way you could solder it.

If it cant be fixed, where I can find a replace sensor?

Thanks in advance!

Im talking about this big blue ribbon cable.(see picture)

Im not up to date on what is what on these dart boards, but im learning!
Thanks for the help ken,

edit:Thats a good pic, you can see the breaks!

Are you talking about the cable from the target head to the target interface board? Or do you mean the cable from the target interface board to the game board?

The parts supply is starting to dry up. Some parts are here:

Well thats not the news I was hoping for, but good to know.

Thanks for the Info and the help!!
Oh, the switch matrix. Sealed unit, non-repairable.

You will have to buy a new switch matrix. The part number should be on the white paper label on the ribbon cable in your picture. Purchase from the parts department of your local Arachnid distributor. The switch matrix is not cheap.

I also have one with a bad matrix. I have been hunting for a working, used matrix for a while with no luck. There are new ones out there but are currently too expensive for my project. If you find a lower cost source let me know.

A brand new switch matrix for an Arachnid made dart machine usually costs in the $100 range. Look on ebay for a used working one.

I used to manufacture membrane switches, which is all the matrix is. The only fix for that would be to cut the connector and re-crimp a new one. I have the tool to crimp it but I don't have any connectors that size.

If you can find a company near you that manufactures membrane switches they may be able to fix it.
