It already has. I echo the sentiments of the OP. And I actually think he seems like a great guy. But geez - when your daily post count adds up to be more than the post counts of Phet, Jow, and Frizz added up - I mean, come on.

Generally, I don't like being around people that talk too much. Is posting too much similar to that? Absolutely.

Real life I'm not much of a talker...or msn for that matter, half the time people think I'm away on msn. And it will die down alot when school starts as well.
 
When you post too much without adding any content, you are less likely to have other members read your posts when you actually need help, or are able to offer help.

endrien, I think you are quickly approaching that stage, if you are not already there. Sometimes silence is golden.

I'm with the OP here. Its kind of annoying when 95% of the posts are a "thats cool" or "thanks" type (sprinkled with a "I'm leaving for good").

Although, I come here for the content primarily and not to chit-chat.

I should say that I'm glad he's found a 'home'. I'm not so sure we're the coolest people for a 14 year old kid to hang out with, but there certainly wasn't anything like this when I was a kid.

With all the arcades closing up ,and ps2-ps3 running a muck in home gaming. I enjoy seeing a young kid taking a intrest in acade machines...These are the people that will keep this hobby alive...Arcades are dying in the mainstream, but if we have a few more young kids getting excited about playing standup arcade machines, this hobby will always live.

I understand that he might just post a few non arcade comments, but there are many other klovers that do the same

I say post on kid...

Your the future, when where all dead and gone someone going to have to buy my collection....lol

Who the h e l l is this thread about anyway? I haven't noticed anybody posting a lot, except for the usual suspects like frizz and phet.
 
and quite honestly, average it out. i know the kid's got a lot over a short time, but all the ones i've got, 7700 or so, are over the last 6 years. my average is about 3.? per day per the stats page or whatever. i used to post to anything, but now i try to stay to stuff i'm interested in responding to. i don't have a job where i can post all day anymore...
 
I think hes just excited about the hobby and wants to be part of it. I think its cool. My son is 15, and I wish he cared about games as much as this dude does.
