Greeting all,

For those moving games with an enclosed trailer, is a 6'-3" interior height sufficient? I know the entrance would be a few inches smaller but that shouldn't matter since the game would be on a hand truck leaning back. I'm just wondering if 6'-3" is enough clearance to allow for tilting the game upright again once inside?

Thanks,

Drew

That seems like it might be too small for most std size games. The bed of my pickup is 6' 4" and I've fit lots of games in that space but the angled top of Most Atari games means that it actually slides "in" a bit more since the game is typically on it's back.

Also consider that when the game is on a dolly and tipped back, you must tip it forward to set it back down, thus the perceived height of the game is actually slightly taller than the diagonal from the top/front to the bottom/back (It's up on the dolly).

That's what I was wondering about, tipping the game back upright on the dolly might not clear, or would be really close.

I move/store games in my round top (arched ceiling) car hauler. It's 81" inside ( 6' 9"). That trailer has fit all the games I've put in it, ones like Atari's Pole Position are really tight when I'm setting it down while on my appliance dolly though.

Not to mention, there is typically support ribbing below the actual ceiling. Is that the height of the ceiling or the bottom of that ribbing?

Some good feedback here thanks all. Sounds like a 7' interior would be the ticket.

I've not specifically measured it. I just looked up the model online to get the height. The roof bows/ribs are spaced like 18-24" apart so there's room to tip up in between.
