I am new to pinball so I am sorry if this is an obvious question. I have a Williams Grand Prix that has two large playfield inserts above the flipper area. It seems that the inserts have sunk just a bit because the ball's travel is affected as it crosses them. Is there a method to raise the inserts level with the playfield or clearcoat or something I can add on top of the inserts to return them to flush with the playfield?

A second more effective google search gave me Ken's advice. Sounds like the method is heating and then re-setting them.
