EM electromechanical question same problem on aladdins castle and aquarius

you guys have always been helpful before so ill give this a try with these older games. i have 2 older em games bally aladdins castle and gottlieb aquarius. when both machines are turned on the motor keeps running inside the cabinet. my dad repairs older games but i have to take them to his place and its a large hassle. but he told me that the gottlieb em motor problems are easier to fix than the bally problem. any help advice? or should i be prepared to move these 2 games yet another time haha. i will eventually really get to it and clean and rerubber them both but i figured id ask on here because they are inside close to my wor/repair area. ive been waiting and wanting to play the aladdisn castle since the middle of summer, it looks fun

I fixed a Gottlieb Strange World that would just run when turned on. Honestly, you really need to get a copy of the schematic and run through everything related to the reset. I found it aggravating, but nice when it was fixed.

Score motor continuously running usually means a score reel is not resetting to zero.

Would`nt it be easier to move your father to the machines ?

haha i try to. he has a hernia from buyign/selling/moving pinball machines for the last 15 years and he refuses to go to the doctors. and he never finishes something he starts......rarely finishes something he starts. you should see all the unfinished projects around here from fixing the house, to repairing old cars, to finishing pinball machines. ill have to keep on him about it. im trying to get at least 1 going myself and maybe he will get the other
