Recently picked up a couple taito cabinets. Elevator Action in a green taito and Mr. Do in a gray taito. They both need a lot of work and are currently not working. Planning on restoring the EA to factory. What color was EA originally? Assuming brown but I'm not sure. I bought a working EA board off of Skolaman1969.

It was mainly a kit game that was thrown into a Wild Western or Jungle King (or other Taito) cabinet. I restored mine in Wild Western colors as that seemed to be the color scheme that best went with the art:

I also had a second one that came to me in those colors that I sold as/is a month ago:

Agreed. Do you happen to have the paint codes/colors you used? Where did you get that control panel overlay from? Assuming you used the stencils from gamestencils.com? Thanks for your help.

I can maybe give you the base coat tan code, it's a Dutchboy Oil-based paint. The overlay is from one of the inkjet reproers, either Gameongraffix or Arcade overlays. Make sure when you look for one, it has the black tearing graphic on each side. This one obviously is missing that graphic. Yes, gamestencils.com .

Here's the other repro overlay:

And the repro I used on my first EA resto:

That is not the Gameongraphix overlay Phet... I have one waiting to go on so I know first hand. I am not sure where that is from.

The GoG overlay I have is missing the black from the bottom of the P1 and P2 guys standing in the doorway...

EDIT: Here it is:

BTB, I have this complete control panel for sale for $55 shipped if you want it. The overlay is pretty decent, not perfect, but no bad either:

My Elevator Action is in a green cabinet. It also had all the supporting paperwork showing that it was converted from a Jungle King cabinet.
