I have a damaged rom that I need to get replaced on my board set. (EA 21) anybody know where I can get the file for that ROM, or program one for me?

I normally go through Stephen at hobby roms, however he is having trouble locating the file for that rom.

You wouldn't happen to have the files for Jungle King, would you? Thanks in advance!

i am not an endless supplier of roms! 10,000+ arcade game full rom sets are readily available to download (for free) if you only just used google! :)

Oh thanks. That's where I actually looked. I see
Jungle King (Japan)
Jungle King (alternate sound)

I have a boardset that is completely stripped of ROMs and another missing some. Was going to pay a guy local to me to burn new ROMs, but I wasn't sure what the right files are.

When I first started in the hobby and started burning roms, Zenomorp showed me this website. Its in a different language but pretty self explanatory. Puts all the rom files in a neat list for you. Been using it ever since. never even tried other sites.

There's also Jungle Hunt (jungleh), just download them all, burn 'em, and try 'em all out,
that's the fun of it all. eproms burners are cheap AF, like $100 these days. so easy to use
and do - there's just no excuse not to own one. an eprom eraser from china costs $10-20,
and the eprom IC's themselves are very abundant and affordable as well. why pay someone
else to do what you can do?

If the board is completely stripped of ROMs (and even if not), it may be worthwhile to just buy one of the Multi kits for it: https://www.highscoresaves.com/high...i-taito.html?options=cart&product_type=simple .

You need to pull all the ROMs to use the kit anyway, and it's totally worth it just for Jungle King and Elevator Action (and you get several other cool games too).

Good point. I have one and it's awesome. There is a video of mine on his website with a review.

I got one. I had my JK almost working with a buggy board. The G07 I just rebuilt went pop. I'm THIS CLOSE to getting it done.

I was going to test the board with ROMs first, but you're right, I should just try the multi kit, I don't think I could damage it, the thing just wouldn't work if the boardset has issues.

FWIW entire MAME sets are up for downloading on archive.org, I won't post direct link since I'll probably get another infraction for that but it's easy to search for & sort by uploaded date.
