Anyone heard from Alex lately? Is he still doing repairs? He was a good source for the longest time - I hope he's still around.

Emailed him a couple times a few months ago about some repairs and still nothing. But he did sell me a power supply "kit" within a couple days of that email so... read into that however you want I guess.

I've been referring people to him, but they haven't gotten a response either. :(

I know there is another person getting ready to do repairs on 8080 games and I thought I heard another talk about maybe getting back into them. One of these guys I've meant in the past and he's top-notch so I'd rather my business go to him. ;)

I understand being busy but it's really easy to have an automated email response saying either you aren't taking on repairs or try again in a month. No response at all just sucks imho. :damnmate: And I know there are people out there who have dealt with Alex in the past who get instant(or almost instant) responses to their emails... glad for you guys... still sucks for us EF noobs. :(

I've been thru this with my Sea Wolf and Gunfight boards and its no fun. Took a long time for him to respond. I'm thankful it all worked out in the end but it was frustrating to say the least. He does topnotch work.

You may want to look for another tech if you don't feel like waiting around.....

I just got an email from him last week - he's had my Sea Wolf boards for about a month, now they're done and on their way back to me. I initially emailed him around the end of February, didn't get a responce until mid-April(!) This is the first time I've dealt with him, but as far as his work goes, I've heard nothing but praise. I have to say the email he sent me about my board repair included many details of what he did to repair them, so he's very thorough.
