I would like to remove the cigarette lighter adapter and just add a 12 volt plug in transformer. Im a little confused with the fact the power cord is using 3 wires. The Black wire is grounded to the chassis along with the Blacks from all three motors. And the Green and White wires seem to tie to the positives (red) wires of the little motors and the bulbs sockets. Do I just twist the GREEN and WHITE together for + and the Black is - to the 12VDC plug in transformer? I dont want to fry anything. Thanks for any help.

Ignore all of the wiring from the adaptor. Your green and white wires are the two + and - wires. Who knows what polarity they used, just try one and see if that suits your needs. If not, try the other. Depending on your power requirements, you might be able to use a wall adaptor.

For future reference, Green is ground, Black is hot and white is neutral or common. Just do not automatically assume it if you did not wire it yourself.
