Anyone ever dealt with this company " http://www.abra-electronics.com/ ". Was looking through their list of IC's and they have every chip that's on the Defender main board. They also seem to have reasonable prices. That makes me wonder? How good are the IC's they sell? I know that it's sometimes a crap shoot, but I certainly don't want to remove a chip and not be able to replace it because the one that I ordered is bad or it's hit and miss. For that reason I would usually order 2 or more, depending on price and quantity. I've never ordered from this company so I am by no means implying that they sell bad products. Lots of people here have ordered from various venders and know the who's, who's of vendors. Perhaps I found a new source for people to shop...or maybe not? So back to the question, anyone got info on ABRA?

Buy without fear. I found them to have the best fuse prices when I was looking to stock up and bought a bunch from them over a year ago for my self and a fellow collector.

The order was processed quickly and no problems with the shipment which arrived in a reasonable amount of time.

I always try to support our KLOV members who do sell ICs and parts first when I can and they can identify themselves and their websites on this thread if they care to.

If you post a WTB thread in the wanted forum with a list of the parts that you are looking for someone may be able to help you out including the guys I referenced in the previous paragraph.

Thanks, I have bought several items from members and the service and price has always been good, not to mention...advice! I like to and get as many of my items from one vendor as possible. Whether it be this person or that person. When I find they have the part I'm looking for, I then look for other items I need and order at the same time. I stumbled upon the site when I googled one of the chips on the defender main board and kinda got sucked into their web site.
