I fixed a deflection issue so now the picture is full and looks great except for the image is "Jittery". Any ideas where to look?

See how much AC is riding on the power supply rails in the monitor itself. Some ripple there could cause it. Be sure before you start replacing the filter caps in the supply though. They're not cheap.

If it's more or a wave, I've seen the G08's pick that up from like a ground loop or something. I had a pesky one once until I removed all the ground straps between the card cage and the monitor.

See if you can tell if it's isolated to either the X or Y channel to narrow things down there.

Do you have any other monitors near this? A monitor shimmy can be caused by nearby monitors, or High Tension lines.

We had to put makeshift faraday cages around some monitors under 345 kV lines to eliminate this shimmy.

Note: The power supply ripple is more likely the culprit. This introduces other things that could influence the behavior, but likely aren't the cause.

Saw this issue with my Star Wars, turned out to be the X-Y pots on the deflection board. Pushed down a little on one and voila, perfectly normal.
