So working on the Pacman for my mom. I had a G07 on the shelf never tried it befor, well I hooked it up to Pacman and no Blue what so ever and I dont think there was any green. The monitor that came with pacman was totally dead. No fuses blown hots looked good and transistors were not shorted, thinking flyback. So back to the monitor with no blue....Did a search on KLOV and checked most of the suggestions. Well the RGB from the pcb is putting out the 2.5 volts dc to the monitor like it should,no cold slodier joints at any of the pins, or those big color driver things on the neck board. I did find someone has changed the blue pot on the neck board,(probly hoping that was it) So I have come to the conclusion the blue gun in the tube is bad...What do you guys think...Is this a pretty rare thing...I was thinking of switching the tube from the dead GO7 and see if that works, or if that one is missing blue also then I know its the monitor chassis. I just hate srewing with those suction cups because I have yet to ever drain one to the frame. I use insulated needlenose pliers with black tape on the end to remove the cup and I also have a wire going from the needlenose to ground just incase voltage were to get to the pliers
So what do you guys think.....Thankyou in advance....Dave
Just found one of mods posts about R517 and turning the brightness way up.I'll have check the voltage and try that.
