Hey all!

Some time ago I got a T2, the DMD was supposed to be dead. However, the seller
gave me the defective one, which I really didn't look at...at the time.

Now I look at it, and I can see that it's 64x16 resolution. Four squares lined up
all with 16x16.

So, that was probably not the right DMD:)

But what is it? Anyone ever heard of a DMD like this?

Thanks!!:)

sounds like a early dmd found ONLY on data east , checkpoint, tmnt, hook, i beleive that is all but i maybe forgetting one or two

t2 takes a standard dmd, that small dmd is more expensive(not much) than a standard, so try trading it for a standard

alot of us keep spares, i have 2 spares myself, but i dont currently have any of the pins mentioned above

as a matter of fact, data east/sega used 3 dmd sizes, williams, bally, gottlieb only used the standard size

I would have to agree. Data East's Batman also used this display, as well as Star Trek 25th anniversary :)

Checkpoint, TMNT, hook as well as a few other earlier DE pins used 128x16 displays. Standard is 128x32 and a few were 128x64

I haven't heard of a 64x16 used anywhere. DO you have a picture of it?
