If you broaden the topic to archaeology, Solomon's Key for the NES also fits the bill. I think for Arcade games, Arabian is the closest you're going to get, unless you consider the backgrounds in one of the tracks in Pole Position II, which is set in Egypt and features the pyramids and the Sphinx.
