I picked up the pair of wico 360 joysticks from Nixs.
Can someone explain exactly how they work or what they are compatible with.
I have tried powering them with a switching PS and a USB cable's 5 v's.
Using a Jamma harness plugged into a Ultimarc J-pac controller.
Each time I power up the joysticks they seem to behave differently with some opto's working, but never all the same at once. one time i had up, down, right working on both at the same time but left didn't work. switched the wires and it followed the connector on the joysticks.
To simplify the t-shooting i went into the WinIPac programming tool where you can see onscreen what switches are being actuated, which told me each time i powered them up i got different ones working or not working.
Are these joysticks bad, or is there something I don't understand.
Possible incompatibility with a J-pac.
tried searching google and klov but didn't find exactly what i needed to know.
these joysticks have the circular plastic base at the bottom, not square like some pictures show online.
