Wow. That's... as disgusting as it is sad. Glad to see you utilizing it for a good purpose!

That is an Environmental DOT that has been chopped. I have one just like it, although in slightly better condition. Hope you can find the rest of the cabinet and copy it.

It looks like it has been in the "environment" for quite a while... glad you are tackling this project.

Actually, it hadn't been chopped. the missing inches are from water damage.. both seams where the back half and front half go together are intact. I seperated the floor and ceiling at the factory seams, and added 2 more leg levelers for a total of 8. It came from a Klover in Indy, transported by Seawolf. He's bringing his back half down so we can go off it for assembly, as this one was already broken down. I will sell just the back halfs of these when i get a good sample built to compare against the original! I still have to program in the main door, and another piece that was broken up and missing parts, i have Seawolf working on making me a blueprint of that part. Back to the driveway, todays project is copying pacman!

The bottom of it looks like one of those Sketchers fitness sneakers.

I will need a back half once I make more room in my gameroom.

Edot

I saw it at its origional home in Fishers a couple of years ago, and thought there was enough there to reproduce. Then when I saw it at your place, I chuckled and thought: man, that thing has traveled a long way. Thats funny you stuck the pieces back together. Good luck. It looks good so far. Aaron

*JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

It's so good to see my old girl again. This game has been through HELL over the past 10+ years! Before I owned it, it had SERIOUS water damage, to the point I found silt in it. When I received it, the back half was not attached but was intact. Since the bottom of the game as a whole was pretty compromised, the buddy who stored it for me was going to cut off the bottom few inches, replace the wood and make it whole again. Unfortunately, all he did was to disassemble the back half.

I did some restoration to the front half and got everything cleaned up and working again:

It sat happily in my garage until I lost my job and had to move to an apartment. I couldn't get the EDOT in, so I sent it to Ft. Wayne with my buddy Scott. He mis-judged the height of the game and tore off the bottom front half of the game:

I stripped out all the parts, including the billboard glass and wiring, and left it to die. There it sat for a couple of years, until I found a factory-converted EDOT. I had Scott haul down my game so I could do some comparisons between the cabs. Additionally, I had gained some woodworking skills and thought perhaps I could use the rear half as a template to make a new one. I transferred all the parts from the old EDOT to the new one and moved it to my basement.

The old EDOT was just sitting in the garage, until I found about about the various EDOT-related projects Ted was planning. Figured it would be better to send it off where it could be reproduced than burning the remnants. Glad to see the old girl helping give new life to other EDOTs.

Ted is bringing me his edot back half, so i can figure out how to assemble it too! don't you still need a back half?

:)

Its great to see another project of mine coming to completion :)
Doc thanks for the parts and your patience as You know I have been waiting a looooong time
for this one :)

This should help a lot of partial edot owners
Glad I can do some good for the community

And happy birthday to me !

i made this to seperate right at the factory vertical seam. As soon as i get teds here to double check accuracy and assemble one that's a dead match to his, i'll be ready to sell some.

And if we only knew someone around here to make all the metal parts on it too! LOL
+1 for having the foresight to do this. Makes them much easier to move.

Now if only we knew someone around here that could make eDOT artwork for the cabinet.
