EDOT Mirror Panels - Reproduction Orders

The remainder of the paid orders are going out FedEx today. Thank you guys. I have some extra sets if anyone wants them.

Anyone install their mirrors yet? I would like to see a picture if you can post one when you do.

Thanks,
Joe

Has anyone installed these on a machine? I was thinking about getting some but I would like to hear some feedback first.
How do they compare the the look of the originals once installed?

I'm getting really close, maybe in the next week or two.

I'm also interested in seeing these installed. My originals are in decent but not perfect shape. Someone thrill us with your mad installation skills so I can take the jump!

Pete

I will stand behind them. If you order a set and are not happy, send them back (within a reasonable time frame, 60 days) and I'll refund your money. I am confident they will match the originals in every way.

If you are at the Texas Pinball Fest today, I brought a couple of sets. Sale price this weekend $115 (thru Sunday).

First set installed! They look absolutely fantastic.

You can find more photos and information in my restore thread.

Thanks! Getting the old ones off is the hardest part of the job. If I was going to do it again, I think I'd try a little heat to see if I could separate the mirror without pulling up the vinyl. Also, when you are trying to get the old adhesive off of your hands, WD-40 works pretty good and makes your hands smell nice, too.

Looks great! Any installation tips?
Thanks! Apart from the stuff about the adhesive above, my other tip would be to test fit the panels with the backing still attached. My cabinet had slight variation from left side to right side, so I'm sure there would be variation between cabinets. When test-fitting the mirrors, I paid close attention to which points were touching when the mirror was aligned. (For instance, does the upper rear corner need to be tight to the top, or the upper front?) Then I peeled the backing and made sure those points were tight as I applied the panel. I used a soft, lint-free polishing cloth to apply pressure and stick the panels.

I still have some sets of the mirrors left if anyone needs them. I also have a couple of "B" grade sets that have some really small scratches (usually just one less than 1" long) that I would take $100/pair shipped.

I tried to take pictures of the scratches on "B" grade Morris, but was unable to get any pictures to turn out. It is hard to take pictures of mirrors.

All of the scratches are just very light in the top layer. They are not scratched to the black backing. They may buff out. I have not tried. Most of these won't be noticeable one installed, but I just didn't want to sell them knowing they had some imperfections.

I have 3 "B" sets with 1-2 scratches / panel all less than 1". $100/set shipped

I also have a "C" set with several scratches up to 3". $60 shipped

Sorry I couldn't post pictures, but as with all the mirrors I've sold, if you don't like what you receive just send it back and I'll refund it for you.

Still have "A" sets as well. $135/set shipped.
