Not mine, EDOT on OC craigslist for $2K

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/clt/1962856342.html

This EDOT is uncut and working but have some water damage to the cabinet. I do have a lot of new artworks/parts such as floor decal, CPO, lamp covers, marquee...etc to make it nice, and it just required some work cosmetically. A nice working unit is usually sold over $4k on eBay and that's without the hype of the new movies coming in December. Sorry NO trade....

VERY optimistic pricing for a machine that needs a lot of work IMO...

I agree. It is also funny that the seller implies that it is likely to appreciate in value... "without the hype of the new movie".... What a joke. It's still a water damaged, beat up old game, that weighs over 500lbs, and is not easy to move at all. (I should know, I've owned two). This one with the water damage is a good firewood candidate. The parts and glass are about the most valuable and who knows if the glass is flaking, scratched, or both.

Game as-is is worth maybe $500 in today's market of beat up broken games.

I played it after it was sold the last time.

It's mostly working but yes the cabinet has water damage and would need some serious restoration. The previous owner had collected some parts for a restoration which are included.

I guess it all depends on how bad you want one of these and what's available. Anyone else got one for sale for $2,000?

The EDOT and all the artwork pieces (thanks Endofline for the grammar correction) are sold for the full asking price, and it is going to be restored by a very ethusiastic collector. He is very excited about the new movies and the project. He plans to finish what I started (not much) by the release date. I will be notified and invited to play at the new home, possibly a party. :)

To Session 9, please find me a $500 working uncut EDOT. I promise I won't use it as firewood.

gprotein, congrats on sticking to your guns and getting your asking price! Good job! You remind me of me!

I didn't buy it. But I'll sell you mine which is in better condition for a mere $5000. I know it's kinda low, but I'm a generous guy.

I am the new owner of this machine. I plan to bring this game back from being a bit of a basket case. Its really not that bad overall....just a bit of water damage here and there. The worse part imo is that it will need repro side art as it is a mess. I will start a thread in the next few days of the project. ;)

Repro...side...art?

was that the wrong way to say that it will need the vinyl siding with the art work replaced?
