eBay: Warlords cocktail - $775 BIN or best offer

Im in the process, I will know tomorrow if I can swing it. It is a space issue at this point, and a project issue I have one already this one might be a nasty one, some swollen wood etc...like I said I will know tomorrow if it isn't gone by then, it most likely will be mine.

There have been a couple of these poping up lately. Aren't they supposed to be rare? A great seller and a klover whom I got my first Warlords from.

My theory (even if it doesn't necessarily apply in this case :D ) is that it takes some time for the "it's really valuable" message to get out to those who don't follow the hobby regulary. There were a little over 1200 of them made, so it's feasible there's still a couple hiding in storage or a back room somewhere that aren't conversions.

That auction is Troy's

Not sure why he mentions the coin door not being original? I'm confused about that. Looks like its factory stock to me?
I have the same one on my warlords (SN # 248) and it's all stock.

Maybe the game is not as sought after as we all think.

I wouldn't go that far. From the description:

I WOULD CONSIDER THE CABINET TO BE IN SOMEWHAT A ROUGH STATE...THE CABINET DOES HAVE SOME SWELLING FROM HUMIDITY AND SUCH.

That'd be enough to scare a lot of potential buyers off of a desirable machine.

If it's just a space issue, no worries, I'd have some room to store it. Plus, then I can get better and hopefully beat you this time at it.

Maybe the game is not as sought after as we all think. It's still there. I am surprised no one has jumped on it. Looks like a good deal.

I owned one and really would have liked to have seen the willingness to fork over big $$$ for it.

IIRC, it sold for a normal amount - $500 or so.

Entirely possible. It depends on location, timing and who do you know. Judging from the look of this unit, I am guessing it could have been tucked away somewhere in back of the a warehouse untouched for a long time. It needs some love, and Troy is a honest guy and he priced it right and accordingly.

Thanks for the storage offers guys, I will probably take you up on it. I emailed Troy, will see what we can work out.

KillerKades-Bad case scenario let's say the cab is pretty water damaged, how much of a pain in the ass you think it would be to rebuild part of it? Looks like some moisture from the pics, wondering how complicated of a cab it is. Figured you'd be the ideal person to ask, having a Warlords CT and the amazing job you did rebuilding the Joust.

Oh Well Troy got back to me and it is effectively sold. Next time I guess.

Thanks again guys for the storage offers they are greatly appreciated.
