ebay: The Act (not mine)

Kingsport auction had one for $600-650 a few months ago...I know there are more than "10" and it definitely tested in more places.

There were only 8 dedicated cabinet prototypes made. There were 80 kits made. The seller is a bit confused and should correct his details.

$10k for a kit in a generic cabinet.

Those figures are vastly different than the wiki entry for this title :

"Prior to closing, Cecropia auctioned off 10 kits of the game on eBay. The kits used were Intel-powered PCs that featured a custom made JAMMA-to-PC I/O board. Other kits that were produced (40 in total) were given to members of Cecropia's staff. Also two dedicated cabinets were sold to the public, these cabinets having been used to location test the game. Most kits ended up in the hands of private collectors while at least one ended up in an arcade in Utah."

Looks and sounds pretty neat, but since it'll be on everyone's dumbphones soon, no reason to buy a PC that runs it, official or not.

All games are like that if you really think about it. For many of us laser collectors, its much more than game play but the artwork, at least that's what does it for me.

Fighting games and pinball are not like that. 2 player vs play in fighting game is heavily decided on out thinking your opponent, not the CPU. It's a major reason why I switched over from classics in 1991.

One went for $450 at the May auction.

Myself and a guy from Maryland were the last two bidding on it.

It was cool but I let it go and he won it.
