Bleah...I won this on ebay not too long ago..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220618574371&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I got it today.Probably one of the worst,if not the worst, packaging jobs I've ever seen.I know it says in the description that it's been damaged but damn....

This is the box it came in.Looks reeeeaaall sturdy doesn't it? The seller used one thin strand of bubble wrap that wasn't even wrapped around the item, but simply thrown in there just like the item.I think the P.O. must have been watching the World Cup and practicing their bicycle kicks with this box.

I'm only out 5 bones on this, but it's still pretty shitty of the seller to just half ass the packaging.I wouldn't even call it half ass.....more like quarter ass. That's how little the seller cared. So yeah...avoid the seller dearabby9800.

I love using the term "quarter ass" sometimes even "eighth ass".

I think you have one of those situations where the seller was pissed he didn't get more money- so he got revenge with crumby packaging. I can't imagine it would be worth anyone's time to pack and ship something for a five buck total.

Maybe you could use the glove and get really good at boxing with one hand!

Yeah,I like using those terms.Keeps language interesting. As far as the seller's shoddy packing,I've sold stuff and made little to nothing on it but I still pacakage it well.Above all I want the buyer to be happy. It's just too bad that many other ebay sellers do not share that same sentiment.

I understand your frustration.

To be fair, it looks like the postal service beat the shit out of the package, like it fell out the door of the airplane, got thrown back on board, dropped again, and was finally sent on its way in the back of a pickup truck instead. Really, I could be mistaken, but it seems to me like someone at the postal service messed up.

That may have happened... but if it were packaged better, the damage would have been absorbed by the box, not the item inside the box...

At least you didn't pay a whole lot for it... gotta wonder, who did they get to really sign it?

I also love when they list the price in the auction... is that supposed to make people think they are getting a good deal?
