Ebay: Fix It Felix from Disney Studios

it looks like it is real but the game is
in bad shape for as short of a time as it has been around.
side stickers are all tore up. old used cabinet.
wouldn't Disney just build a new cabinet instead of converting a heap.

They intentionally made it look bad to create the illusion of an old game. The "sunfade" to the right of the torn sideart (3rd photo) is very well-done, and adds a lot.

You can't have a 30-year old game look brand new....at least not in the movies.

If this one is going to auction, that may mean more will hit the market.

In any case, the possibility of eventually getting the proper Fix It Felix Jr. on my computer / in a cabinet is looking a little better.

It's done on purpose, but I agree with you 100%. It looks like shit. I wish they would just make a nice new one, instead of... this thing.

Did any one call the number on the eBay listing?
If so offer em $100 for a clone of the hardware. I highly suspect it is a computer with files on a hard drive and easily replicated.

I wouldn't count on that...
The more expensive this one gets, the more likely the buyer will be to hoard it away. I'd say it's almost certain already.
Better ask the seller for pics of the inside now, because in eight days, you'll never see this machine again.

As an aside, any other N* fans notice the eight-slot speaker panel :tapedshut:

Why the heck do people bid on stuff on eBay more than a week before an auction is scheduled to end? It makes no sense at all. Watch the item that you want, then put your bid in with your personal max near the end. Bidding that far in advance is only sure to inflate the price.

True but what I've also found is that if everyone does this sometimes the seller thinks there is no interest and ends the auction early to sell off Ebay. Now that it's approaching $2K they will most likely let it ride out.

I picture a tiny little 4x4" JAMMA board in there to run the game. It would be nice to find out just out of curiosity.

Just saw this. Yeah, this puppy will skyrocket in price. Like I'm thinking 5K high.

Weird though, if Disney forced other ops to sign NDA's to place these games on location, I wonder what happened here. I can't believe they'd allow this cab to be sold this soon - the movie is still in theaters.

I fear this auction may not be allowed to complete.

If it does, it'd be great if a KLOVer got it. Unfortunately, I don't have the kinda ching required.

That's what people thought about Ultracades ...

It could be bid shilling, too.

neither do I or I'd pull the drive and try a few cloning programs.
