Looking at a Namco class of 1981 cab, was wondering how easy it would be to convert to a 60-1 cab? I guess I just want to make sure it's easy, with no surprises. Would have to figure out how to add the 2nd button, etc...

I love the cab, but would prefer to have a 60-1 with all the space it takes up....

Thanks

That cab should have a JAMMA harness. 60-to-1 PCBs are JAMMA.

You should be good to go. And it might map your 1p and 2p buttons correctly for some games.

I have a good ole 39-1 in my reunion cab. no mods , just plug and play. love having all the games, just wish the sounds were better.

The dang pcb was just a little too large to fit in my cabaret in the original spot.

But the pcb is plug and play. The unused player 1 start on the right side is used as button 2.

I redid the wiring so I could add a 2nd button to the control panel, and made it so that the start buttons on both sides did the same thing, but other than that is was easy.

I have the pinout for that cab here somewhere...
