Iron J. (Mark) will be returning from Afghanistan in about a week and a half and he is flying into Atlanta, grabbing a truck, and traveling back to western Washington. The primary purpose of this trip is to pick up assorted parts/machines he has purchased or stashed across the country. He has offered to pick up machines along his path if anyone is interested.

Currently his plan is to start in Atlanta, travel to North Carolina, then north to Virginia (stopping at dj dns's place). From there he will continue north to the Coin Op Warehouse in Maryland and on to New York City. From NYC he intends to start west, stopping at TNT Amusements and then heading over to Chicago. From Chicago he will be headed to Washington. He has not decided whether to take I80 or I90 on his final leg west. He will be renting an enclosed truck to carry his parts/games in and he will have room for additional games.

Mark can not currently log into KLOV but he can read it as a visitor, due to government computer restrictions. He has asked that I help coordinate this effort until he is capable of direct communication. If you are interested in having anything picked up please send me a pm. Mark would appreciate if you post here as well so he has an idea of what people need.

BTW, Mark is also looking for a Galaga and a Ms Pac while on his trip home. If anyone along this path has either of these machines for sale please contact me so I can get you in touch with him.

Is he coming to CA to pick up his Virtua One's? I think FullThrottle is not going to CAX and picking them up for him.

I don't know. I do know he read your post yesterday and was planning to take some action on it but I am not sure if that has worked out for him. Karl is not a very easy guy to reach at times.

Hello

My brother in Afghanistan asked me to login for him and write this.

If you want a game hauled from from the route that Oryk Zinyo mentioned above (ie Atlanta, Richmond, New York City, Chicago, or points in between) let him know ASAP. He comes home on leave in a few days and is going to do a one-way trip. He is really looking for a Galaga, Ms Pac, Centipede, Ghost n' Ghouls, Mortal Kombat 2 dedicated, Missile Command along the route if you have one for sale.

He has already contacted CoinOpWarehouse and TNTamusements to stop in. If you want something from there he could pick it up for you.

He is also finding it funny when people type "wish I was closer" and here he is offering to Uhaul games for a smaller fee than NAVL.

Write him directly: ironjuggernaut _at_ hotmail _dot_ com

Thankyou

If Mark needs a place to crash on his way through Chicago he is welcome to stop over. I'm not that far outside the city and easy to get to from the highway's.

I had a few parts at DJ DNS's place, that is, if he still has them. If he's going to tnt from there maybe he could grab that stuff if it hasn't been resold by now? :)

If so I can meet him anywhere near TNT or on the way. I live about 20 min away from TNT.

Great guys, keep the posts coming.

As a reminder, Mark can only read these posts when he is not on patrol so his responses to me will have a bit of a delay.

cnlmoore - Mark said if the timing is right he would love to take you up on the offer. Can you send me your contact info so I can forward it to him?

Orion3311 - Mark would like you to finalize your deal so he can pick up the parts when he passes through Fredericksburg. I'll need your contact info as well.

this guy defends our right to be idiots on a forum, and now he wants to deliver arcade games to us. that is truly going above and beyond.

when he arrives at home, may his truck have all the space not taken up by games, filled with beer.

when is the epic road trip happening? if I don't get to it first, I may need a game picked up in lower delaware, if it is not too far out of the way. I can meet at tnt or any exit of the turnpike on the way to nyc.

He can stop by here if he's going I-90 route, I'm just out of Rochester, MN (SE, MN) area. Heck he could even play some Mortal Kombat 2 while he's here. I'm 5 hours from West from Chicago as well..

PM me the address. I'll send it to him and let Mark make the decision if it is too far out of his way. Oh, and this looks like it will start this weekend.

I'll see what he says.

I need a upright mach3 going from Pennsylvania to Chicago along interstate 80

Can you pm me both addresses so he can determine if it is feasable?

well then, since it is a cross country trip maybe everywhere he stops he should get some of the local liquid refreshment. he will have quite a selection when he gets all the way home.

laird's applejack is bottled pretty close to me. also barnegat lighthouse beer, but that isn't very good.

I'll have the fridge loaded with Shlitz if he makes the stop over here :)

anyone between atlanta and philly have a taito mini cab or two for sale?

a crazy climber mini without a pcb would be perfect, but I'll take just about anything, even converted to poker, as long as it is a taito mini cab.
