this doesn't apply to all klov members, but besides a full day of gaming, what other snow storm rituals or activities do you look forward to on snow days?

I'm in Massachusetts and it's CREEPY how quiet it is outside, nobody is going anywhere and everything except the snow is dead still.

I'm probably going to work on my basement today and perhaps my Boot Hill game.

I have been watching marathon episodes of King of the Hill for the last 2 days thanks to Netflix.

Also fun to walk my dog in the snow so I can watch him make yellow snow and dog doo snow cones!!!

Also watched a Zappa documentary on on Netflix. Coincidentally, it was about Apostrophe/Overnight Sensation...CWTHGDYETYS...

just got done shovelling, and debating weather to head to the office.. Right now it appears to be marathon Strawberry Shortcake/care bears via netflix. If I don't go to the office. will probably spend the day coding at home so I Can pay for all the games I want :)

A day like today is the perfect one to both have Jeeps and arcade games as your hobbies. Oh yeah, and homebrewing beer too (but it's still a bit early for that one...)

I got my shoveling done last night and played a bit of my Donkey Kong Junior after. We didn't get enough snow to keep me from going to work today, though. Would've liked to play some more instead of work!

From Buffalo working in Boston this week and can't believe they shut the city down. Me and my partner drove into work (in a POS Yaris rental) from our hotel to find only 2 other people showed up.

What happens when a real storm hits?

the amusing part is the mass hysteria and panic that spreads on long island before a storm! businesses and schools started closing yesterday by 3:00! people took the day off 5 hours before the first sight of snow!!!! and i never got why people out here rush to the supermarkets before a storm! we're never stranded for more than a few hours!

You can't compare Buffalo and Boston. Buffalo gets snow in the SUMMER! It's the same around here (Albany). 6 inches of snow and the schools close. Fortunately for me, I now work at a college. It's closed 2x in the 3 years I've been there.
