For years I wanted a Super Sprint, but had been worried about its size and whether I would be able to get it into my basement. A couple of years ago I got one in trade that ended up needing repairs and it took until this spring to get it back up and running … in the garage. Finally this week I decided enough was enough and set about getting it inside. It's been a great summer of collecting and moving games into the basement — having an 18-year-old son home from college who's been slinging tires as a summer job definitely helps.
Still I had nightmares about getting this guy inside. Sure, we had moved a Gauntlet II into the basement and even a Smash TV without incident, but I was nervous.
Know what? Second easiest game I've ever moved into my basement (No. 1 is my Bagman cocktail).
Once the monitor and CP are off it weighs next to nothing. Granted it's odd shaped, but we got it strapped on the dolly and it was gravy going down the stairs!
Last night me, the wife and our two boys took turns playing it for a few hours!
So if you want a Super Sprint, but are worried that's it's too big, it isn't!
