OK, I know for some reason there is no diagram for Earthshaker rubber kits. I replaced all of mine with new ones, and had some differences from what I think were "stock". I've searched through the internet for various playfield pictures. I have three yellow post rubbers, and a white hat shaped rubber. There are of course several black post rubbers. My machine had the center post as just a tall thin yellow rubber. Many of the machines out there have a yellow hat shaped rubber on that post. I've also seen pics with rubber just like mine on the post. So I figure the white hat shaped rubber I got with the kit was supposed to be yellow and probably goes on that post. After that, I only know where ONE of the yellow post rubbers should go. There would end up being two more. Anyone know where three yellow post rubbers go?

I may just end up keeping the straight yellow post rubber on the center post because I like the color there, but if the hat makes the gameplay better I'll swap them out.

Thanks!

Jeff

I just shopped out an ES not that long ago but my memory is terrible. The white hat you speak of is indeed used. It is used to eliminate possible ball stick areas. Whirlwind uses that same type post rubber. The post left of highway the ramp is where it belongs. Any rubber kit I've ordered has never been color co-ordinated/matched with the original layout/design.

Unfortunately ES is one of the absolute WORST pins to work on because you need midget hands in a few places. I bet your extra post rubbers go back where you can't see. FYI - that curly ramp is especially a PIA. There is a bulb near that curly ramp which over time cooked it and made it brittle. Every ES I've seen has had a toasted/broken curly ramp. $100 item to replace. Also ensure the correct spring is on the shooter rod. It should be a RED spring. If anything else replace it because it is the ONLY spring that allow you to nail the skill shots properly.
