Hey all,
I have an Earthshaker pinball, that I think I will be replacing the display in the foreseeable future. I know Marco has the Pinscore LED displays that are now available in the original orange, as well as red, blue, and green. My question is has anyone used any of these system 11 LED displays in the red, blue, or green and how do they look compared to the orange ones. Looking at my ES, I would be tempted to go with a Blue or Red, just to have something that looks different. But I honestly don't know if its worth the extra 100 bucks for the other colors. So if you have seen the different colors, do you have any comment on the brightness, readability, or any other aspect or insight of these that you would like to share. I won't be buying one tomorrow, but maybe in 6 months. So is it worth the 200 or 300 for the upgrade.....?

I saw these at expo and I have to admit I almost got the blue ones for my ES too, they look pretty damn cool, then I got to thinkin what if I used blue transarent film, but that orange would make it look brown or purple or whatever....they are very bright, and they look kick ass, but Im not sure I could get the money out of them if I ever had to sell it, plus for $300 I could get this mario wb I have had my eyes on... decisions...

Actually good to hear some positive comments on these LED displays. The scuttle butt from what I had read is that everyone prefers the originals. Yes, they are too expensive. Hopefully, the price will drop some in the near future. And if I was going to spend 300 on an upgrade, I should have bought the sinking building when it was available last. It sucks to be poor. Anyways, still love to hear from anyone else whose seen these in person. As for the colors, I figured the blue would match all the blue trim and plastics on the playfield. I figured the red would look more like an emergency bulletin or sign. Either way, different is different.
