Finally got around to starting my wall stripes in the arcade. I started on one wall, only have 3 walls to go! I am doing blue, green and then orange as my third stripe. I didn't have the orange I wanted on hand, so I just taped for the blue & green stripes today. Tell me what you think:

No idea why my wife's camera puts those water spots in every pic. Must need an interior lens cleaning.

i like it. I'm not into plain white walls for a gameroom or home arcade.

Thanks Dave, and I agree about the no white walls rule. I was pretty happy with the way this turned out so far. And the wife said it couldn't be done. (at least not by me) Ahahahahahaha, showed her.

they are just orbs... all the ghosts wanna hang out at your house.. though i would be cautious as there are a lot near your Satan's Hollow.. :D

the stripes look good too.

i went all flat black in mine because...well... im lazy... heh

it actually reminds me of the timeout tunnels and the other local mom and pop arcades that were around here in the 80s and 90s

Dunno if I'd add orange at this point, as it looks good the way it is.

Tell me what you think:

I think you should build a toybox for your kids...

Gotta love the star wars game. What is the game beside it?

Asteroids Deluxe

I love the wood grained doors and trim with regular mocha paint. I love the colored stripes, they really have that arcade feel.

I HATE them both together The stripes and the wood grain. They do not look good together.

Yeah, You don't know how many fights I have had with my wife over that damn pile of toys. I plan on building a rolling toy box and then painting it up like a mini arcade game. Haven't decided which one. The wife thinks Qbert, I am leaning toward a Pacman cab.

To me it works, and I really have no choice. The doors cost $250 each, solid oak. What do you think I should do, paint them?? Hellz no. The 80's was all about mixing 70's wood grain with loud colors. I like it.

Phet, The stripes look pretty cool, but your not going to do a full rainbow are you?
