hi all. this is my first post but wont be my last. i just picked up my newest project a original Galaga cocktail table i found on craigslist for $75.00. its complete and i havent had a chance to really look at it yet (owner told me it just stopped working). My first question is where can i get CPO for this version. they all seem to be for the later stle cocktail tables. ive added 2 pictures of mine and one i got from KLOV to show you. lmk what you think guys:)

Yes, yes, it's Twobits. Otherwise if anyone has a scan of the CPOs I can vector it and put you in the right direction of who can make it.

i saw that one today when i was looking but its for the style like my pac-man coctail table is. this one is different. at first i thought maybe it wasnt originaly a galaga but since Klov had the same one in there reference page on galaga i assume it is. as far as where do you get one for $75.00....florida. and for the coin door i have no idea what it should look like. Klov only has the back showing for reference. yes it is different that my pac-man for sure. lmk what else you guys think.

search for something that says stern on it...a tag or otherwise...i think somebody converted a old berzerk or other stern game to your galaga...the coin could have been replaced but that still leaves you different control panels.

the only thing i could find is a tag hanging from inside the coin door that says scramble very faint. i just googled stern bezerk and yes it looks like the same cabinet.

Nothing galaga about that, originally a stern of course.

You will have to use either custom overlays or generic ones. With it being a conversion I would just go with generic overlays myself.

ok so what should i do. keep it galaga or restore it to scramble? i honestly like my games to be all original but could deal with having a galaga in a stern cab. is a stern scramble cocktail table hard to come by?

I think they are a bit hard to come by, like most Scrambles they got converted and then later many got reconverted to Galaga or Ms. Pac because the glass fits.

Nobody reproduces the glass though, so that could be a problem, you would have to find a nice original glass (good luck) or print a custom cardboard underlay.

Scramble is on the 60 in 1 board, might want to go that route.

No, it doesn't match the pic. Look real close at the wooden sides of the control panel. Yours are much thinner. The KLOV pic CPO side panels are much deeper.
