Why do the score displays never line up with the backglass windows?

At first I thought that it was coincidence that My Black Knight and my Firepower both had the same problem where the player 1 display is almost lined up but gets progressively worse with players 2, 3 and 4. Now that I have acquired a Tri-Zone and a Hyperball, it's the same with those.

I am missing some adjustment that is needed. They all only have one latch. I can't see the commas in player 2, 3 and 4 on the sys7 ones

It's the latch side of the score panel that's sagging over time, but it's not the latch. There's another plate, similar to the latch, that handles the vertical alignment. Make sure that spot of the whole panel gets pushed all the way back, and that the alignment tab gets fully engaged, it should lift it up about 1/2".

It will also help the wear on the backglass too, as it keeps the displays further away from the glass and keeps them from wearing away the paint.

The possibility the displays (glass) were changed and not aligned prior to soldering. I have been in this boat before. There are no real adjustments, unless the door is simply sagging to the right.

It appears to be a sagging door issue. I unscrewed the four screws and loosened the carriage bolts on the hinge side. I thought I was able to move it up a bit when I re-tightened it but it will not stay locked in by the piece above the latch...

I don't understand why all four of my Williams game are doing. Although the logical answer is operator error...
