Game: Elevator Action (Taito)

Issue: No power

Notes:
1. Game played great, after being on for 4 hours, it shut off.
2. No power at "switching power supply"

What are some basic tests / trouble shooting?

I am a beginner.

Thanks!!

Make sure back door is pushed in, there is usually a switch inside. Or pull back door off and pull out on button on switch. It is an interlock that will kill ALL power to game. There may be a switch on top or near power cord, flip that a few times and report back.

1) Do you mean the "on/off" switch on the bottom corner of the cab? accessible from outside?

Note: All of the door "safety/pressure switches were disconnected a long time ago. not in use anymore.

Here is the inside of the cabinet. Not sure about the old PCB type board on the floor of the cabinet.. Does not look like it is used anymore since it now has a power switching supply, yet a few wires pass through it.

Sorry about the dust. I am afraid to clean up with fear of breaking a capacitor or solder joint.
