Curious if anyone has encountered any phoenix cabinets that may be a little different from the Centuri manufactured units.

Doing some research on Tago I came across this comment by Mark Struhs, vice president of marketing for Dynamo from 1982-1998 stating that Dynamo was in the process of working with developers and manufacturers to create a second run of cabinets for popular games that have otherwise been out of production. This coincides with what @DuffCon recently found with his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cabinet manufactured by Dynamo. While Struhs comments can be seen as a bit ambiguous. His comment could be seen as confirming a second run of Phoenix cabinets manufactured by Dynamo or simply using Phoenix as a potential example. If indeed this was the case this may coincide with Dynamo's creation of their Lil Hustler/Classic Line cabinet

Yes, Dynamo built the cabinets in that style for Centuri and other companies at the time. They even made empty ones that ops could buy to put kit games into.

It just wasn't well known that Dynamo was doing that at the time. I found some ads in some stray Play Meter magazines that promoted them but that was about it.
