I'm looking for some pictures of the control panel mounted in a Dynamo HS-5.

Mainly the board that slides in and out.

I've seen some for the HS-2, and HS-4 on Dr. Zero's page, but he doesen't have one for the HS-5. And they appear to slide straight out.

My question is, my cabinet looks like it has a groove where a board would slide in at abour a 45 degree angle. How is the CP mounted to that board? Also, is the power supply and ISO built on to that board, as it is in the pictures of the other drawers?

Any answers/pictures are appreciated.

Edit:
Well... I accidetly posted this in a different section than intended... I guess it can go here.

Yeah, looks like it does, but sadly, the pictures aren't very detailed for the area I need, and he's not using a stock CP, so it's not exactly correct.

Thanks for the link though... I can now broaden my search to the Z-backs

My z-back has a slightly different drawer its kinda like the one he built but it fits between the sides and in it everything was mounted to the slide out drawer. There is no real way to get at the bottom of the cab since the back is sealed.

If you want I will see if I can get to it and get a pic of the drawer, its buried right now so might be a few days. :D

I have a new Dynamo manual coming in that I hope will have some more info also, will keep you posted.

Good luck on the search!

No problem, take your time. In the mean time, I will PM Prairied1||0 and see if he can get me a pic or two.

sorry my machine is a little burried.

If you are going to put a 19" monitor into a HS5 then I'm not going to help you. They take 25" monitors!

I agree! And I would much rather put a 25" in it. It has the brackets for the 25" already.

Ideally, I will get both cabinets running, each with the proper size monitor. It will take a while though.

Take your time on the pics, it's cool. I'm not in a rush, and don't need to inconvenience you.

I just got word I'm getting a HS-5 cab this Saturday!
Its already wired and has the 6 button controls for SF, all I need to do is add the PS, monitor, and pcb then I'm all set!:)
Oh and best of all it's only costing me $40

Well, with the CP, you are a step ahead of me.

Mine has the lower back door, but not the upper back door.

It is also missing the plexi and bezel for the monitor.

There is no wiring in it, but I don't care, because I still have a new harness from Bob Roberts I need to use in something. It will probably end up going in the HS1 though.

sorry it will only let me post 5 pictures per post, and also sorry im a little late to the thread.

but here are some pics from a restore SF II CE i just finished I tried to find relevant pictures, let me know if this is of help, and if you need any specific pictures just let me know i can post up some in 5 minutes from your request:

I would have dealt with those issues rather than deconvert the GT 99 that I was planning on doing.....I'd much rather have a SF in a Dynamo cab, just seems when I look around on C/l they go for $300-$650.
It might have served me better at the last auction to target one there but I was obsessed with another cab and only had room for one....:(

Here is what used to be a Capcom Bowling in an H-5 25" Vertical Mount Cabinet. Currently, it's getting converted to a multicade 60-1. I Figured a 25" vertical multicade would be pretty cool vs the 19". It's still in the beginning conversion stages so yes it's ugly.. I have alot of work to do like replace CPO, Side Art, etc.. I'll probably leave the trackball for the few trackball games on the board but replace it with a newer Happ version. Also, someone before me chopped the top down but took the time to replace the top, cut the slot for T-molding and re-molded it. Very bizzare. My guess is they must of had a short ceiling in their room. Either way, I'm not fixing that. I'm just going to order a custom shorter multicade marquee.
