Hey experts. I picked up what I thought was sure to be a HS-5 today based on this pic:

Turns out it isn't. No drawer, but it is 25". No dynamo stickers. One atari label on the back that has model number 51000.

Any ideers? I guess it must have been a dedicated atari something or other and I know they used dynamo cabs for most of their games.

Thanks,

i think 51000 is the Atari Tetris kit. pretty sure it's just a standard Dynamo, like my 19" with no drawer and no Dynamo stickers or markings.

I have a question. First what is the measurements of the control panel within the side walls. I suspect that the cab is actually an HS-1 that was originally a 19" but was later retrofitted with a slim fitting 25". Its been done before and if it was an atari tetris, it probably wasn't a 25" from the factory. If I remember correctly, an HS-1 with a 19" screen would have a control panel of 21.75" where an HS-5 would have 23.75" metal control panel. Hope that helps.

CP is 23.75" wide. I have owned a HS-5 in the past, which is why I was so sure. Guess this one will be fitted with a multi neo cart, cleaned up and resold.
