I have a dual monitor PC10 that just stopped working. You power it on and both monitors light up and there's a crackle through the speaker, but nothing displays on the screen.

It looks the exact same way if I pull the PCB out of the cabinet and power it up while disconnected.

I don't have any spare parts for it, so any idea how to test to see if it's the main board, the filter board or whatever else it is that's mounted on the outside of the Faraday cage ?

any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

If both monitors (and marquee) light up (but don't display anything) wouldn't that show the power supply is working ? or are there 2, 1 for the monitors and one for the PCB ?
Correct check the voltages from the one that hangs on the side of the cage.

I was able to pull the game out and get a real good look now. It has a Model PP1000A power supply hanging off the cage and (unfortunately) my single monitor pc10 has a different type (pp1200a). I'm assuming since the Board and games played flawlessly the night before it's probably not a board or game issue. If I need to get a new power supply for it, who sells them?

Everything works fine until it doesn't. Sometimes those power supplies need new caps though.

Fair enough. If it isn't the caps on the power supply, what else is involved in "rebuilding a power supply" Any videos or guides or so that might be able to help? I've been pretty fortunate and haven't had to really do anything yet but strait swaps of parts so I'm on the n00b end of the repair scale.

Any tips would be appreciated.
thanks.

The PCB Power supply died and I found a replacement from a KLOVer and it works great again.

Beyond Capping them, is there anything else that really goes into rebuilding one of these? Just curious as I'd like fix it and have a spare if I could, although I've never rebuild a PS so I'm honestly sure what's involved.

capping them is a good start.
if it still does not work then you can look for other problems.
